Whitehorse, YT, Canada, FEB 24, 2008: Snow sculpture of big salmon getting at fisherman in his small boat in Shipyard Park, Air Canada International Snow Sculpting Challenge, on Feb 24, 2008 in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada The Air Canada International Snow Sculpting Challenge is a feature event of the Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous. It takes place at the Air Canada Snow Pavilion at Shipyards Park in downtown Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada (see Google map). International snow carver teams from around the world create stunning eye-catching snow sculptures. Artisans work day and night for 3 days. They transform Shipyards Park in Whitehorse into a magical winter wonderland. At the 2008 event this Big Wild Salmon Snow Sculpture was part of the show.
